Use of UV / Ozone on Shrimp Maturation RAS

Hi Everyone. 

I have a question on the use of UV / Ozone on Maturation Recirculation systems. I have heard from a few sources that UV and Ozone can have adverse effects on shrimp mating rates possibly due to the destruction of hormones but I have never seen research to back this up. Does anyone have any opinions or experience with this?
