I am a graduate of (1) Bachelor of Science in Animal Husbandry with a (2) Certificate in Animal Production. I am also a graduate of (3) Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a (4) Master's Degree in Aquatic Veterinary Studies at the Institute of Aquaculture, the University of Stirling in Scotland, U.K. as a scholar of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of the government of Canada.
I have 30 years of experience in the different sectors of the Philippine Aquaculture Industry. First, as the Pathologist and Chief Diagnostician of the Philippine Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) then moving into the private sector as designer-production operation consultants in the different areas of the Philippine commercial aquaculture industry including in Black Tiger Prawn Hatchery, Pacific Whiteleg Shrimp Hatchery and Grow-out, Tilapia Hatchery, Grouper Hatchery, and Live Grouper Export, Marine Ornamental Fish and Invertebrate Export, Milkfish Hatchery and Engineering Concept Design of Indoor RAS in Private Home Nishikigoi Recirculating Ponds, extending to Larviculture RAS for Penaeus monodon, Penaeus vannamei, Oreochromis niloticus and Chanos chanos, including Live Seafood RAS Design and Operation at the Food Service Sector particularly in the Fine-Dining Seafood Restaurants and RAS Facility Design of Large-Scale Commercial Marine Fishes and Invertebrates.
