Does vannamei tolerate higher alkalinities (i.e., >500ppm)?

One of my farmer has a groundwater bore with alkalinity @ 600ppm and was 672ppm after pumping into earthen pond. I would like to know whether an alkalinity of that high has any impact on growth and survival of L.vannamei shrimp?

The salinity of the pond is 1ppt and the morning pH is 8.5.

Thanks and Regards

Murthy
