The second very interesting example of the use of natural food is the use of mosquito larvae in the process of feeding the shrimp.
This method is used by the head of the only large farm in Russia - Alexander Shubaev.
He organized the constant extraction of bloodworms in the lakes adjacent to the farm.
On the other hand, in the Russian culture of pond cultivation, there is a technology for organizing special breeding grounds for mosquitoes and thereby increasing the nutrition of aquatic organisms with natural food.
My Brazilian friends this year decided to apply this technology in their ponds.

Good afternoon Dear Colleagues!
I want to share my experience of feeding shrimp - live maggot - fly maggot. As you can imagine, this turns out to be a great microcapsule in which the fly mother has put everything necessary for the health of her children))).
On the other hand, it is very easy to saturate this microcapsule with additional vitamins and various additives. Just feed these larvae with the necessary ingredients.
So our any shrimp get the whole set for growth wrapped in chitin packaging.
We combined feeding with fly larva in the evening with feeding with regular pelleted food. Moreover, all the dust from the bag of granulated feed went to feed the next batch of maggot.
It was nice to see how the white specks of the larvae were pulled apart in different directions by the shrimp.

As for the food, I completely share the view that shrimp is not a fish
and does not swallow food but is a rodent, therefore, in my opinion, it is the use of a maximum granule size of 4-6 mm for shrimp. Observing the feeding behavior of shrimps, it is noticeable that they like to carry food in their paws and gnaw it in turn.
